Scott Crawley
Scott is a director and founding member of Harrier, with in-depth experience in outsourcing and HR consulting in Europe and Australia.
He moved into HR consulting as a result of experiencing and appreciating best practice in industrial relations at Rio Tinto. Having originally embarked on a career in mechanical engineering, his work with Rio – at some of the company’s most remote resource and infrastructure projects – gave him a first-hand insight into the potential for organisational development, change management and program management to transform individual and corporate performances.
Scott relocated to Europe to advance his career in outsourcing and consulting, ultimately heading up an ambitious organisational and people development program for a fast-growing IT consulting company.
Returning to Australia, he leveraged his engineering, project management and managed services background to lead key RPO initiatives in engineering, geoscience and operations resourcing. Clients included Woodside and BHP Petroleum, as well as Chevron, where he oversaw resourcing for one of the largest LNG and single resource projects in the world.
